WELCOME FROM THE 11TH ROSE QUEEN
immerse yourself in the blooming rose and spa town of Bad Langensalza.
In addition to the beautiful planting, which makes the heart beat faster with every visit, it is recommended to linger in the 10 different parks & gardens of the city.
In addition to the well-known Japanese garden, which regularly offers traditional tea ceremonies and invites you to immerse yourself in the harmony of silence, I prefer to stroll through the rose garden, the garden of love.
Here you can marvel at over 450 roses of all kinds in every color and be enchanted by the scent of roses and their history in Bad Langensalza.
Walking through the cozy old town, you get directly to the next highlight, the 3 tower view, which you can marvel at through an eye carved from stone.
In addition to the former Augustinian church, the view of the tower of the town hall and the market church of St. Bonifacii is also directed.
If you get involved in the great flair of the city, you will discover the many playful half-timbered houses in the city center and who is not satisfied with independent exploration, you also have the opportunity to take part in a thematic city tour and embark on an exciting journey through time.
There is also the possibility of a time travel on the last weekend in August each year, when the entire city is transformed into a medieval market.
In addition to the most beautiful and largest medieval festival in central Germany, you are cordially invited to take part in the annual fountain festival to get to know our traditions better, because the one-week festival has been celebrated in honor of the sulfur springs since 1812.
Even in the cold season, our beautiful Friederiken Therme offers spa and wellness offers based on natural and local remedies, sulfur, brine and drinking water.
A visit to my hometown is worthwhile in every season.
I look forward to welcoming you to Bad Langensalza and hope to meet you soon!
