A special enrichment for the community is the sports and cultural center “De Volkart”. This complex houses a swimming pool, a sports hall, a theater and various cultural spaces. A former mill “De Wieke”, located in the center of Oostkamp, now serves as a cultural center for the community. European artists exhibit their works there. The community is surrounded by 20 castles, most of which are privately owned and inhabited. 4 community parks and numerous cycling and hiking trails invite you to relax and unwind.
