in the “Haus Rosenthal”

On display are valuable jars made of glass, porcelain and wood, pharmaceutical tools, as well as mortars and scales. In eight rooms, visitors can discover the different work areas of an old pharmacy. The pharmacy museum also includes the adjoining pharmacy garden, in which more than 80 different medicinal herbs grow. Visitors can also experience the restored “Haus Rosenthal” monument from 1515 up close. The historic wall paneling and the wooden parlor are particularly impressive. The city of Bad Langensalza received recognition for the successful renovation in the competition for the “Thuringian Timber Construction Award 2013” and in 2015 the “Thuringian Monument Protection Award”.
