Japanese garden

Bliss Garden

Enjoy gently rippling waterfalls in this oasis and linger at the sacred trees in the Japanese garden. Curiously accompany the waves raked in gravel from a dry waterfall. Passing Japanese-style stone settings, they meander gracefully through the garden. Observe majestic Kois in the clear water of the pond lined with water lilies and water lilies. Leave “evil spirits” behind on a zigzag bridge. Enjoy the aesthetics of masterfully designed bonsai artworks in constant change. In the beautiful plant pavilion with its tea house, you can be a guest of an original Japanese tea ceremony.

PUBLIC TEA CEREMONIES

What is called the tea ceremony in this country has a much more modest name in its country of origin, Japan, namely Chadô (tea trail) or simply Chanoyu (hot water for tea). The tea path elevates an everyday action, the hospitality of guests, to the rank of an art form, which is ultimately about achieving a deep silence of the mind.
Dietrich and Jana Roloff are tea masters from the Ueda Sôko School, which emerged 400 years ago in the circles of the sword nobility and are still based in Hiroshima today.

  • Registration for the tea ceremony through the Tourist information
  • Participation fee: € 22.00, reduced with spa card: € 20.00
  • Duration: 1.5 to 2 hours
  • Number of participants: maximum 24 people
